Tilak smashed his second T20I hundred in just 41 balls, following his maiden century in the third match in Centurion. He finished unbeaten on 120 from 47 balls, blasting 10 sixes and 9 fours. At the other end, Samson scored his third century in his last five innings, and the two shared a remarkable 210-run partnership for the second wicket. This partnership also made them the first pair from a full member nation to both score centuries in the same T20I innings. India posted a formidable 283/1, their second-highest T20I total, behind only their 297/6 against Bangladesh.
