Maharashtra Election: BJP’s Vinod Tawde Denies ‘Cash for Votes’ Allegation, Hits Back at Opposition
BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde, who was accused of distributing money to sway voters, denied the allegations and claimed that the opposition was attempting to exploit a political incident.
“No one knew about my visit to Nala Sopara. When I called BJP candidate Rajan Naik, he said they were sitting with the workers and invited me for tea. I went there. There was no conspiracy or ill-intention. The opposition is trying to make political capital out of this incident because they are losing the election,” he said.
