Harbhajan ने यह भी कहा कि किसी भी रिश्ते में आपसी सम्मान और संवाद बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि वह केवल उन्हीं लोगों से संपर्क रखते हैं, जो उनके प्रयासों का जवाब देते हैं। “रिश्ता हमेशा देना और लेना होता है। अगर मैं तुम्हारा सम्मान करता हूं, तो मुझे उम्मीद है कि तुम भी मेरा सम्मान करोगे,” हरभजन ने कहा। उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि जब बार-बार संपर्क करने पर कोई जवाब नहीं मिला, तो उन्होंने आगे संपर्क करना छोड़ दिया।

He confirmed that there has been no personal interaction beyond the cricket field. “It’s been 10 years and more. When I was playing at CSK, that’s when we spoke, but otherwise, we haven’t spoken,” Harbhajan stated in an interview with CricketNext.
Harbhajan Hints at Possible Reasons for Silence
Though Harbhajan clarified that he has no issues with Dhoni, he acknowledged that the former Indian captain might have his own reasons for not maintaining contact. Harbhajan mentioned that despite multiple attempts to reach out, he never received a response from Dhoni. “I don’t have anything against him. If he has something to say, he can tell me,” he added, further emphasizing that he has no personal grudges.
Respect and Communication in Relationships
Harbhajan stressed that mutual respect and communication are essential in any relationship. He shared that he prefers to stay in touch only with those who reciprocate his efforts. “A relationship is always about give and take. If I respect you, I hope you will respect me back,” Harbhajan explained. He made it clear that after repeated attempts to reach Dhoni without a response, he decided to not pursue further contact.
