Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain, Sanju Samson, may relinquish his wicketkeeping responsibilities in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Retained by RR for Rs 18 crore, Samson discussed the possibility of shifting to a fielding role, allowing youngster Dhruv Jurel to take over behind the stumps.

That was a discussion. I think we will be sharing gloves,” said Samson during a chat on AB de Villiers’ YouTube channel.
